A couple of days ago Apple released iOS 5.0.1 and many of us upgraded to it, and today a new version of Redsn0w jailbreak tool has just released to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1, this version still tethered but it's primary features that it allows you to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 outright; without the assistance of any additional firmware.

Now, let's show you how to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 using Redsn0w 0.9.9b9...

STEP 1: First thing enter your iPhone into DFU mode.

STEP 2: Download Redsn0w 0.9.9b9 [Mac users] [Windows users]

STEP 3: Click Jailbreak. Once it finishes the jailbreak, place your device back into DFU mode.

STEP 4: Now you will find Apple logo on your iPhone home-screen simply while you are in Redsn0w open "Extras" and press on "Just boot" so you will get out of the DFU mode and directly go to your iPhone homescreen

And that's it you are done and ready to enjoy with your new jailbroken device...
