Born in Otio, South Africa and live there until he was five years old. After four years, for the first time in his life saw a battery. It was in a program of television , a jazz drummer. This was his firstcontact with the instrument , and also for many years the only one. In 1977 he went to Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil, and passionate about football, he began playing professionally for the local computer, and until then I was sure it would be a great player. But in 1985 with the completion of the first edition of "Rock In Rio", things started to change and the vision that was four years old and meant something. Throughout the festival , Achilles built a battery cans, gas cans and so on.And playing in the back of his house. A year later, with some school friends started a band doing covers of country. From here things changed, Achilles dreamed of the day getting to be a greatdrummer.
